About me
My name is Gill, and I am an integrative counsellor who will greet you with warmth, empathy, acceptance and understanding from the first moment we meet, providing you with a safe place to share and explore your emotions or behaviours. Reaching out to seek support is the first step to making sense of your thoughts or feelings or being ready to change your life.
If you feel you need help with any mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family issues, work issues bereavement or setting personal goals, else please get in touch. I have experience working with Adults and Children aged 12+ using various approaches such as Cognitive Therapy Behaviour (CBT), Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Personal Construct Theory, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Rewind Techniques. I also have experience working with people who are neurodiverse and their families via my experience of working in a school and lived experience with my child. Together we will build a strong therapeutic relationship to promote growth from within.
I believe that finding the right counsellor will ensure you achieve the most out of your journey. If you have any questions, or require any further information about me please, call, email or even what's app. I have an Instagram and Facebook page that are also ways to contact.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
