MNCPS (Accred) Integrative Counsellor Clinical Supervisor

About me

My name is Gill, and I am an integrative counsellor who offers warmth, empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding from the very first moment we meet. My aim is to create a safe, calm, and non‑judgemental space where you can explore your emotions, behaviours, and experiences at your own pace. Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and move toward meaningful change.

I support adults and young people aged 12+ with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family or relationship difficulties, work-related stress, bereavement, and personal growth. My integrative approach draws on several therapeutic models, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Personal Construct Theory, Transactional Analysis (TA), and Rewind Techniques, allowing me to tailor our work to your individual needs.

I also have experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families, informed both by my work in a school setting and my own lived experience as a parent. Together, we will build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages insight, resilience, and growth from within.

Finding the right counsellor is an important part of your journey, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have. You’re welcome to contact me by email or WhatsApp. You can also reach me through my Instagram or Facebook pages if that feels more comfortable.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I offer a space where you can express the thoughts and feelings you may have bottled up or perhaps weren’t even aware of, and begin to explore why you feel or behave the way you do. If you’re hoping to break old patterns or understand yourself more deeply, I provide the right environment to support that process.

You can choose between face‑to‑face sessions or flexible online sessions that fit around your busy life. Online therapy removes the need for travel and is easily accessible through platforms such as Teams, FaceTime, Skype, and others.

I am fully dedicated to your journey. I believe everyone has the capacity to change, grow, and be heard. We are not fixed in place; we have choices, even when those choices feel difficult or when our circumstances are not of our own making. Staying where we are emotionally or mentally is still a choice, and therapy can help you move toward something different.

I may be the right counsellor for you if you’re looking for someone who will gently challenge you when needed. While this can feel uncomfortable at times, I use my experience with warmth, honesty, and sincerity to support you through those moments. My aim is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change from within.
