About me

Are your difficulties related to the perinatal period and being a new parent? Or are you looking for help for a young person (16-25 years) undergoing major life transitions? Perhaps you struggle with difficult feelings or addiction?

Hopefully, I could be of help with the above. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology, and an endless drive to help people tap into their unique strengths.

Who am I here to help?

I am flexible in my approach, which has enabled me to work with individuals with a range of difficulties and backgrounds. Indeed, in my current roles in the National Health Service (NHS), I split my time between a psychological service for expectant and new parents and a service for young people (16-25) leaving the care system.

Over the years I have worked with children, young people, adults and families and with a range of mental health difficulties, from anxiety and depression to more enduring presentations (e.g., psychosis) and addiction (e.g., substance use, gambling).

How I will try to help you-my approach to therapy

Since I obtained my degree in psychology in 2016, I have always felt drawn to the stories that I hear in my consulting room. I am eager to listen attentively to each unique story and help new stories unfold. Each of us is an expert in our lives. My approach is to tap into your unique strengths, aspirations and your expertise in your life. My role is to help you unlock your resources so you can get back on track or follow a different and more fulfilling course in life.

How I endeavour to make a difference- my mission

I am also determined to make a wider impact beyond the consulting room. I am interested in the connection between mental health and social inequalities. My research has focused on access to therapy for people on low incomes. Striving for an emotionally fit and fair world is part of my mission.

**I currently have evening availability on Mondays. Most of my work is online. My fee for self-funded sessions is £120**
