About me

Individual online sessions - £45

Individual sessions face to face - £50

Block bookings of 4 sessions face to face - £45 per session

Hi, I’m Tammy.

Therapist, storyteller, recovering perfectionist.

There’s a lot to get your head around isn’t there? I remember scrolling through therapist’s profiles online, trying to find one that would jump out at me. It’s OK feeling you don’t know where to start. Looking for a therapist already shows that you’re choosing courage over comfort. Having a difficult time makes you human.

I work in a collaborative, client-led way where I will be with you - face to face, online or over the phone - with your pain, awkwardness, discomfort and conflicts to help you to recognise your own personal understanding of yourself. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning; I will be right alongside you as you explore the many parts of yourself – old and new.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m trained and qualified in Person-Centred therapy and a member of the BACP. Although my practice is not limited to specialist areas, my personal interests and experience include resilience, anxiety, perfectionism & shame, maternal narcissism, sexual trauma and abuse.

  • Foundation Degree in Counselling – University of Worcester 2023
  • Level 3 Diploma in Counselling – University of Worcester 2021
  • Counselling at MIND Herefordshire
  • Counselling at West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) Herefordshire
  • AIM qualifications – Professional Working in the Sexual Violence Sector
  • CPD in Counselling Online – BACP
  • CPD in trauma awareness

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
