About me

Hello,

Welcome to my counselling page.

I am a relational therapist specialising in couples counselling, as well as couple work, I also work with adult individuals and children from age 12+. I provide online & face to face counselling sessions.

Face to face counselling is at the wellbeing rooms in Stepps where I rent a room so bookings are made directly through me.

Some of the issues I can help support through (a full list is below) are intimate relationships,  family relationships, poor mental health, anxiety and depression, inner child work (childhood trauma), bereavement, separation & divorce, anger issues and low self worth and self esteem. I also support victims of intimate partner violence and I also have experience working with neurodiversity ADHD and supporting children with family breakdowns, behaviour difficulties, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

Being an integrative counsellor allows me to pull from many different theories to best support you, your partner or children to their specific needs.

I know how overwhelming and challenging counselling can be so the fact you are here on my page means you have taken that first step to get the support you need.

My support offers the opportunity to understand your relationship with yourself and others and how this can contribute to your behaviour responses. Exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours,  how they may have been shaped by your life experiences from past and present relationships.

If you have any questions please get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
