About me
I'm a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 12 years of clinical experience within NHS and private practice settings. I have a proven track record in providing integrated and evidence-based psychological care, specialising in complex cases, including those who work within high-pressure environments such as the financial, legal and aviation sector. I have particular expertise in offering culturally sensitive treatments for clients from asian and ethnic minority backgrounds, tailoring interventions to address their unique cultural and psychological needs and goals.
I draw upon a range of evidence-based psychological approaches which include Culturally Adapted Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), Trauma-Focused CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, CBT for Psychosis, Couples Therapy and Family Therapy.
I'm a therapist who is compassionate, honest, non-judgmental and is committed to supporting clients with overcoming their personal challenges. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential in facilitating psychological change and I am dedicated to fostering a positive therapeutic environment and achieving high standards of client care.
