About me

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor which means having access to a rich and varied toolkit of different approaches that can be tailored to each individual.

Your experiences will be prized and your journey will be honoured as we explore together what is troubling you. I work pluralistically which means we collaborate together to find a way forward that feels right for you.

You might want to walk and talk and take in the healing powers of nature. You may want to sit on the floor, play with fidget toys or pace up and down. I strive to create an environment that allows you to experience therapy in a way that feels comfortable and safe for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • BSc Hons Applied Psychology
  • PgDip Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • Level 1 Counselling Skills
  • Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • Diploma in Rape and Sexual Abuse - Children & Young People
  • Safeguarding Level 1

I have been working as a trauma therapist for the past two years. Supporting men and women to heal from sexual assault and abuse. I have recently started working with children between the ages of 5 and 17 who have been the victims of or witnessed crime.

I was a 'walk and talk' emotional support caseworker with Victims First. Supporting victims of crime throughout the pandemic.

I worked as a Training Lead and Counsellor for Shout which is a national text-support charity based in London.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
