About us
Thank you for visiting our profile, you have made the first step in seeking some support which can be scary and daunting. We assure you that we welcome all enquiries and will not judge, we want to assist you and we want to help. We are passionate about aiding others with any emotional concerns after much lived experiences ourselves.
We are a team of two counsellors (Lauren and Dan). Lauren has a particular focus on neurodivergence as she has diagnosed ADHD and understands the daily struggles the condition can bring. She has a passion for working with the effects of domestic abuse and also has additional training and experience in working with addiction, neurodivergence, trauma and children. However, she has also worked with many other concerns and is happy for you to drop a message and enquire regardless of your concern (e.g. depression, anxiety, stress).
Dan has lived experience of addiction and has extensive knowledge of the effects and struggles this can bring. He also has a good understanding of neurodivergence and in particular ASD. He has worked with many teens and adults covering a variety of issues.
We are strong believers that everyone has the right to live a happy and content life. Sometimes we just need a little guiding light to get there. We are Integrative Counsellors, and work with several different methodologies and techniques to offer you an individual service that is specialised to your needs and goals. We are trained in person centred therapy, CBT and Psychotherapy and have also completed additional training to further these areas.
We work with both adults and children of all ages online, in person and in school settings.

F2F offered primarily in Easington Colliery. However we can also accommodate Houghton le spring, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Darlington (subject to availability).
