About me
I am Hannah and am qualified to work with adults, children and young people. I currently work remotely with some immediate availability. All sessions take place through video calls (or phone calls if you have a strong preference for this). I work with a wide range of issues and if I can impart one thing to you, it’s that I can hold you. I can walk with you emotionally. You are not alone.
Sometimes emotional and mental difficulties feel like they are the biggest and most impossible to overcome. But I am there for you. By helping you become more aware of yourself and your emotions I whole heartedly believe change can happen. I am open to working creatively and can take everything at your pace. It can feel impossible to know where to start and that’s ok. It is expected. I am there.
Whilst online work is generally not suitable for those under the age of 11, I also offer parent work. This is slightly different from individual adult work but I can help you support your child and explore your difficulties with you in relation to your child.
Drop me an email and let’s have a chat.
Training, qualifications & experience
- BSc Psychology
- MSc Integrative Psychotherapy
I have worked therapeutically with children, young people and adults since 2014. I have a particularly extensive amount of experience with adolescents, working with issues around stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, coping with family and relational difficulties, self harm, suicide ideation, attachment difficulties and a huge array of other difficulties.
I have worked with adults for even longer and can provide a safe space to help unpack what is troubling you. I prefer to work in a way that addresses the deep rooted cause of your difficulties.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
