About me

I am a qualified, independent counsellor based near Maidstone and a member of NCS (National Counselling Society). I can help with everyday mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem and stress. I currently work via telephone and Skype to provide a counselling service, with a focus on person-centred and humanistic approaches to therapy. As we are all individuals, I can adapt my approach to suit you and your needs.

I offer a free initial consultation to understand your needs and answer any questions you may have about therapy. You can contact me via email or phone to arrange this, once we have decided whether we can work together we can discuss the process moving forward.

Further information

I am a home based counsellor working via telephone and Zoom. I have worked as a placement counsellor for Mind since 2018 and have run my own counselling business since March 2020. My theoretical approach is mainly person centered, meaning the sessions are client led, but I also have an intergrative approach allowing for flexibility in sessions. I have experience in dealing with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, abuse, addiction, bereavement and loss, bullying, self-harm, emotional issues and others. I aim to meet my client's individual needs and tailor each session to suit you. I offer a safe, confidential space for you to express your emotions and worries without judgement. I offer a free initial consultation to see if we can work together and I also offer cheaper rates for students or those with low income. I am on the National Counselling Society accredited register which has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Through my experience I know that life can be overwhelming and can take you by surprise, extra support can offer you a confidential space to explore your emotions and untangle them safely without judgement, allowing you to continue life with a new perspective.
