About me

My name is Eliza Kopalak. I am a qualified psychosythesis counsellor/psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in practices in Brockley/New Cross SE14. I am particularly experienced supporting adults, facing all kinds of challenges and issues related to anxiety, self- esteem, body symptoms, relationships, career, failure/success concepts, emotional struggles, sexuality, meaning, loss of meaning and loss.

My Approach

Psychosythesis is an integrative and transpersonal psychological approach, particularly focusing on human potential. It takes into account the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental dimensions in which we exist; facilitates access to wisdom and intuition, fostering healthy self-esteem and a bold sense of self.

We are often stuck with the way we act and see ourselves and our place in the world, we become identified with ideas, and beliefs we grew up with. These concepts are imprinted in our minds and, only when we realise them, can we set ourselves free.

In the process of therapy, I question and challenge the way you look at things, to arrive at a new perspective. This is how you can discover your potential and become who you really are.

'No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it'. Albert Einstein

In compassionate, empathic and non-judgmental space I will hold, support and lead you on your journey. I am intuitive; kind, gentle yet challenging, honest and straightforward. I encourage you to give yourself a chance and take the first step.

First Steps

After initial contact by e-mail we will arrange a session as soon as we can. Our first meeting is a time to get to know each other. It is an opportunity to ask questions about the process of counselling and for us to explore what brings you to therapy at this moment.

I offer ongoing weekly, 50 min sessions.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
