About me

I offer professional, confidential counselling in a safe and supportive environment.    I have a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and my approach is integrative thus recognising that every individual is different and may need a different approach and I can tailor the therapy to what suits you best.  I work primarily using a person-centred approach working ethically and empathically, with compassion and respect.

My aim is to work with you towards wholeness and a greater understanding of the self to enable you to live your life to the full with any issues causing difficulty, anger or sadness from the past or present.  I offer a non-judgemental space to explore and facilitate change and work with clients to establish a warm and therapeutic relationship to work through those issues.

Counselling is an effective tool to help support with stress, low mood, anxiety and depression.  It can also be used for relationship problems, family issues, bereavement, work-related issues, difficult life events and more.  Being able to speak to an impartial and independent counsellor can help give a different point of view and think about things in a different way.  Talking about issues is good for your mental health and overall wellbeing.

I am passionate about the work I do and the support offered at times when things seem overwhelming.

If you would like to find out some more information on the type of support I can offer, please do not hesitate to contact me.  This is an opportunity to ask any questions and concerns you may have and to gain a better understanding of the counselling process. This is also an opportunity for you to feel if I am the right counsellor to work with you. Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email me.

The first session will be an opportunity for us to discuss your current concerns and talk about what sort of help you may be looking for.  We can then discuss whether you wish to continue with the sessions and set out the day and time.  I am able to offer long term and short term sessions.

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
