About me

Hey, my name is Charlotte, thanks for looking at my profile - and well done for getting this far in your journey.

I can offer you a safe space to explore any thoughts and feelings you may have or have had - past or present.

Sometimes we are able to process what's going on for us, but sometimes when we think the world cannot throw anymore at us, it does. When stuff starts to overwhelm you, I can lend a listening ear. I do not judge! Who wants to be judged anyway?

I am an honest and open person, living in the 'real' world. Whilst I can't 'fix' things for you, I can sit by your side all the way and help you figure it out. The power of change lies within you - My aim will be to help you dig a bit deeper to find it,

Whilst with me, I will work with you, by your side!

The aim of person-centred therapy is to see and feel your world as you see and feel it. If you would like more details, or have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

I have experience of working with people from the age of 18 up to the age of 91. Each session is tailored to you - it’s not one size fits all.

I offer appointments on a Wednesday, weekday evenings and weekends.

I can offer you various ways of having a session with me depending on your preference.

* Walk and Talk - nature = soul food

* Online - providing you have a safe space

* Telephone -

* Face to face in a private room

I also offer discounts for students - please contact me to check for availability and costs.

If you are thinking of contacting me, please feel free. I like to offer you a 20-30 minute free chat to do some introductions and get to know a little bit more about each other.

It is important that you feel comfortable with me. I want you to feel that you can trust me and therefore share your thoughts and feelings with me. I hope I can facilitate this.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
