About me
A warm welcome!
I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. This means that I incorporate different approaches according to each individual's needs. I understand that seeking help may feel daunting, therefore, the relationship element sits at the core foundation of my therapeutic approach in which I aim to work with warmth and empathy. Whether you want to take it slowly, go in-depth or explore further, I am committed to engaging in the therapeutic journey with you at your own pace.
In therapy, I mainly integrate the person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. In practice, this means that I emphasise on what is happening in the here and now whilst also looking at childhood-family relationships and earlier life experiences that have impacted the individual’s current present. Although this is my main approach, I’ve also trained in a broad range of other theoretical approaches which I draw upon depending on what the person brings including Mindfulness, Gestalt, Existential, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and working with Trauma. I also utilise other creative techniques in therapy that can help to navigate and discover other aspects of the individual’s self that talking alone may not meet.
My experience of living in different countries from a young age gave me the opportunity to learn from diverse cultures and developed enriching connections with individuals whose voices may not always be heard. I’ve worked in a range of therapeutic settings including the NHS Talking Therapists, Low-Cost Therapists services and school settings. I have experience working with people struggling with issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, early childhood trauma, addiction and a whole wide range of emotional problems that may arise at any life stage including relationship and work problems, LGBTQIA+ and identity issues, loss, bereavement and life transition. I have also experience working with neurodiverse young people and their families.
How I work
My counselling work strives to provide a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental and nurturing environment where individuals can feel at ease and be comfortable getting in touch with who they truly are. The therapeutic space is a collaborative work that allows us to work together in finding ways that are more significant and meaningful to you. Therefore, my work consists of working side-by-side with you, to help you find the answers that are within you, to empower you and find the purpose you’re looking for as we work together to clear the pathway and engage in the self-discovery journey to live a life more fulfilling.
How therapy can help you
You may find yourself feeling stressed, worried, unmotivated, anxious, depressed to name a few. Very often, you may not know what is really bothering you, why you may feel stuck or may lack to find purpose in life. Therefore, the therapeutic relationship provides you a safe, non-judgmental and emphatic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. It is my job to help you navigate to understand your thoughts and emotions, and together we can unravel what they mean and find ways to reclaim your life with a sense of purpose and healing. I believe that you have the potential and power to all the answers that you’re looking for as you are your unique precious self.
Getting started
You may feel unsure who to work with or how to start. Therefore, feel free to contact me with no obligation. I can offer you a free 15 minute consultation where I can listen to you get a sense of what is going on for you and what you’d like from therapy. Then, you can decide whether you'd like to set up an initial meeting.
Once we meet for the initial meeting and if you’d like to continue, we will arrange to meet every week.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
