Individual. Couples Psychotherapist/Clinical Supervisor

About me

I am an Individual and Couples Therapist working from a person-centred foundation, integrating approaches drawn from CBT, psychoanalytic thinking, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt.

My work is relational in focus, with particular attention to attachment patterns and the development of self-identity.

I support individuals and couples navigating emotional difficulty, relationship challenges and life transitions, helping bring clarity to patterns, strengthen communication and build more secure ways of relating.

My approach is trauma-informed, reflective and paced, creating space for insight, emotional safety and meaningful, lasting change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I offer professional counselling for adults (both individual/Couples) who feel emotionally worn down, confused in relationships, or disconnected from themselves — often after long periods of coping, accommodating others, or holding things together on the outside.

My work is especially supportive if you find yourself over-functioning or people-pleasing, feeling anxious, flat, or emotionally foggy, stuck in repeating relationship patterns, or navigating change, grief, loss, or life transitions. You may also be struggling with self-trust, confidence, or a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right.

I work relationally, compassionately, and at a pace that prioritises emotional and nervous-system safety. Therapy with me is not about fixing or analysing you, but about helping you reconnect with yourself in a steadier, more grounded way.

How I Work:
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on person-centred, relational and psychodynamic counselling, attachment-informed work, and nervous-system awareness.

Rather than focusing on labels, I pay attention to how experiences are held emotionally and in the body, and how patterns developed for good reasons.

Clients often tell me they feel less internally pressured, more emotionally clear, better able to recognise their needs and boundaries, and more confident in relationships and decision-making.

What You Can Expect:
A calm, non-judgemental space, therapy that respects your pace, and support that values presence, choice, and emotional safety. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we begin wherever you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
