About me

Hello, I’m Simeron. I am an integrative psychotherapist with a heartfelt dedication to helping children and young people thrive through therapy. My approach is holistic, individualised, and has creativity at its heart.

I understand that as a parent or carer, you want the best possible support for your child, I am here to provide a warm and collaborative therapeutic experience tailored to their unique needs.

I bring a depth of education and training to my practice, driven by a deep commitment to understand and support young minds. I first trained and worked as a primary school teacher for several years, where I created a classroom full of warmth, gentle encouragement and self-belief.

Having gained a solid grounding in early attachment and child development, I then chose to train as a child and adolescent psychotherapist. I completed a foundation course at Metanoia Institute before going on to study a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Families at Roehampton University.

Alongside my work as a psychotherapist, I am an artist, working from my studio in West London. I find that art is immensely powerful as a way to both heal and to help communicate complex ideas. I create a therapeutic space for your child where they can express and explore what is on their minds in whatever way suits them best. Often children choose to communicate through play and the arts. I have a range of creative materials for those who find it easier to express themselves non-verbally in this way. Together, we will set the pace and agenda for therapy, exploring whatever matters most to your child.

My work emphasises the importance of creativity, curiosity and play to offer healing. My goal is to provide a safe and trustworthy therapeutic relationship for your child, enabling them to open up and make meaningful connections. If you are a parent or carer seeking therapy for your child and looking for a therapist who will work to truly understand their unique needs, I am here to support you in this journey.

Let’s work together to empower your child to flourish and grow.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
