About me

Specialist Support for Children & Young People (Ages 4–24)
Hello, I’m Simeron. I am an integrative psychotherapist with a heartfelt dedication to helping children and young people thrive. With over 14 years experience working with children, parents and families, I am here to provide a warm, dedicated and collaborative space tailored to your child's unique journey. I currently support young people online and in person in Richmond, London.

I am continually inspired by the young people I work with and I feel grateful to be a stepping stone on their journey.

My approach
My style is warm, fun and empathetic and I create an environment where children and young people feel heard, held and honoured. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed.

I understand that as a parent or carer, you want the best possible support for your child, I bring a wealth of specialised experience to our sessions, including:

  • ADHD & Neurodiversity - Helping young people understand their unique processing styles and build self-belief.
  • Anxiety & Emotional Regulation - Providing support to manage "big feelings" and overwhelm.
  • Trauma Recovery - My experience working with domestic violence charities has given me a deep sensitivity toward supporting those who have experienced trauma.
  • Creative Communication - Alongside my therapy practice, I am an artist. I find that for many adolescents, 'sitting and talking' can feel daunting. I use my creative background to offer a range of non-verbal materials, allowing them to express complex ideas through the arts and play, when words aren't enough.
  • Perfectionism Tendencies - Working in a prestigious independent boys' school, I have a deep understanding of the intense academic stress and performance anxiety that young people often face. I provide a grounded, supportive space for children and young people to process these pressures without judgement.

A Foundation in Education and Care
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I worked as a primary school teacher. This "front-line" experience in the classroom gave me a solid grounding in early attachment and child development. It allows me to bridge the gap between clinical support and the daily reality of a child's school life.

Please see below for a list of my professional qualifications and further experience.

Online Therapy & Richmond Practice

I currently have a small number of spaces available over the summer (July–August) for short-term support, particularly useful if your child is preparing for a transition, such as starting secondary school or moving up to a new year group. These sessions can offer a calm space to process any worries before September arrives.

I offer in-person sessions in Richmond, South West London, as well as Online Therapy.

If you are looking for a therapist who will truly work to understand your child's unique world, I would love to hear from you. Please reach out to arrange an initial consultation.

Types of Clients
I work exclusively with children and young people (ages 4-24), offering a bespoke therapeutic approach that recognises the unique pressures of growing up in today’s world.

Whether your child is struggling with the transition to a new school or navigating a recent diagnosis of ADHD or Anxiety, I offer a compassionate, expert hand to guide them toward self-belief and emotional ease.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
