About me

I am an Integrative Therapist, which means I tailor the sessions to meet my clients needs at that point.

My approach and easy going nature, makes clients feel at ease.  My main  intention as a therapist is to offer you a safe, non-judgemental place to be your authentic self, where you will be able to feel at ease and safe enough to open up (when you are ready) in order to explore your problems, feelings and experiences.

My passion is working with parents that may be experiencing difficult times with their children, either children of a young age or adult children.  Through professional and lived experience, I will walk the path with you and support your needs.

  • I am here to help you make sense of what has happened, why your child behaves the way they do and how you can support as well as a non judgmental space for your thoughts and feelings, as they are just as important.
  • Look at your options, make decisions and plan your next steps. This may also include me mentoring you and giving you the support you need to get where you want to be in life.
  • Process and address difficult feelings and emotions to improve how you feel.
  • Working together to deal with past and present issues.
  • Giving you hope and direction for the future in all aspects of your life .

I have also studied the connection between the mind & body. When it comes to our overall wellbeing, they are more closely connected than you may realise. Nurturing your body as well as your mind helps greatly with depression, anxiety and even low self-esteem. This can be added to your journey if you would like.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
