About me

Based in London, I offer once-weekly, open-ended and time-limited psychodynamic psychotherapy, working both face-to-face and online. Thinking together, we can make conscious the ways in which past relationships, often family-related, continue to impact on patterns of your behaviour and emotional resilience. Psychotherapy helps if you are seeking change and, in a safe, confidential space, we can explore how to effect the change you wish to see.

I offer an open, non-judgmental, inclusive attitude, with a particular interest in the challenges of gender, addiction, relationships, sexuality, bereavement, depression and anxiety. I work to the Code of Ethics of my Professional Standards Authority Register and have Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. Prior to a rigorous five year training, and qualification at WPF Therapy, I worked for almost twenty years in parenting support and counselling and extended that work to families living in recovery from addiction. I have worked empathically and reflectively with an extensive range of issues.

If you would like time and space to talk about your sense of self, your challenges and behaviours, I can offer you that.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

You will come to once weekly, open-ended, psychodynamic psychotherapy. This therapy is led by you and is not directive.  You will have a 'thinking other' - someone to explore things with and think with about the how and why of where you are in your present. Understanding yourself will help improve your ability to cast off behaviours that no longer serve you or perhaps have long since been destructive.

My premises are both in easy reach of tube and train stations, one being in King's Cross and the other in London Bridge. The rooms are cosy and easy to feel at ease in.  I look forward to welcoming you there.
