About me
Previously working with young and vulnerable groups, I have worked in various organisations and charities in helping/support roles since 2001. Graduating in 2023 as an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I now work in private practice, and offer counselling to adults and young people 16+. I enjoy studying and research in my professional field and strive to keep my Continuing Professional Development record current, attending workshops regularly as well as undertaking additional training that aids and is relevant to my work. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. Both membership bodies are accredited by the governments voluntary Professional Standards Authority register (PSA). This guarantees that I have met a high level of training and experience.
I offer outdoor and walking therapy in addition to face-to-face, online, and telephone therapy sessions.
As as Relational Integrative therapist I work with clients who are having difficulties in their lives and wish to talk and explore these in a confidential, and non-judgemental environment. The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the therapy I offer. I strive to provide a safe, empathic, trusting and healing environment where we work together to find the best approach to meet your needs.
Exploring thoughts, feelings and emotions can feel painful and uncomfortable, so we work at a pace to suit, in an environment which feels right for you. Through gentle exploration we may gain insight, clarity, skills and acceptance over matters we can or cannot control, contributing to growth, self-awareness/ motivation and general well-being.
I offer a free 10 minute telephone consultation where we can discuss your needs and answer any questions which feel important. Prior to our first session I may send confirmation and a contract for you to complete and return either before or during our first session.
After gentle exploration of your needs and goals we will plan a way to move forwards using the best methods for you. I have trained in many theoretical approaches which allows me to use the best approach(es) dependent on your needs and what is most appropriate for you.
I can provide short and long term Face to face/Online counselling.
Face to face appointments are available at Woolpit Clinics and also at my practice in Cockfield (IP30) close to Bury St Edmunds/Sudbury.
Sessions are for 1 hour Face to face and online, unless previously arranged.
I also offer Walking therapy sessions. These sessions are slightly longer at 1.5hrs. Locations available to suit requirements so please contact for more information.

Seven Keys for working with men successfully
I am a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I ethically adhere to continued professional development and professional practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
