About me

Hello my name is Nadine, I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor with 10 years experience.

I qualified in 2009 and I actively work with children, young people, adults, relationship counselling and family therapy. I have 10 years regular counselling experience and 6 years continuous ongoing experience working with children's mental and emotional health service for Kirklees within Tier 2 and Tier 3 Ask CAMHS/ ChEWS - Northorpe Hall Services. Including School Consultations and contracted School Counsellor, including sudden tragic loss of children and supporting pupils and school staff on a 1-1 and mass scale.

Everyone goes through periods when life seems to lose it's meaning.
Memories of the past, painful events in the present and worries about the future can make it difficult to cope with everyday life. Struggling to cope with issues may impact on your health and well-being. There may be times when appropriate support cannot be found from family, friends or colleagues.
Talking over issues with a counsellor often helps.

I work with children from 5 years of age upwards, teenagers, adults, couples & families. Individual counselling 1-1 & family counselling therapy.

Reduced Package 2 £40.00 ph - 10 counselling hours prepaid £400.00
Making a saving of £100 at £40.00 ph for counselling therapy.

Reduced Package 3 £35.00 ph - 20 counselling hours prepaid £700.00
Making a saving of £300 at £35.00 ph for counselling therapy.

Relationships Therapy is £70.00 per hour
Family Therapy is £90.00 per hour  (3 to 5 people)

Payments are payable in advance or the start of the session unless agreed to invoice, which is then payable in full within 7 days.

EAP - Corporate companies employees / Insurance companies are quoted on request specific to requirements of how many staff members per visit / Monthly/Termly/Annual block visits.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Cancellation Policy
Please give as much notice as possible if you are needing to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, no less than 48 hours notice, so that someone else can benefit from the allocated time reserved. Counsellors discretion re payment of session time, which would be payable for cancellation.

I will keep the information you share confidential and your identity will be protected at all times within boundaries of the law. However should circumstances arise of serious risk of harm or threat to yourself or others, I would be obliged by the code of ethics to break confidentiality under the acts of terrorism and duty of care to ensure you are safe from immediate risk of harm under safeguarding.

Sessions
Each session lasts for 60 minutes, please be punctual for your sessions.  This is your time to discuss what you wish to do so.  I am here to provide support according to your individual needs within boundaries.
