About me
Hello, I'm a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Advanced Level Schema Therapist. I work in the NHS in London and also privately and have over 20 years experience working with adults in mental health.
Sometimes life throws challenges at us that can have a real impact on how we feel about ourselves and how we cope. We may be struggling with a relationship or facing issues at work or we might be trying to overcome more long standing difficulties from our past that may be traumatic even though they happened a long time ago. I can help you make sense of these experiences and problems and provide hope for a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Psychological research has repeatedly shown that the relationship you have with your therapist is an important mechanism for change regardless of the model or approach used. My style is warm, friendly and approachable and I aim to make our sessions feel safe and supportive whilst focusing on your goals.
I offer treatments that are proven to be effective including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Therapy for Trauma and Schema Focused Therapy and depending on the problem I integrate and tailor these approaches to meet your individual needs and circumstances. I work with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, stress, panic, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, childhood trauma, anger, loneliness, bereavement and relationship difficulties.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation by telephone or zoom to talk about your main difficulties and what you are seeking and how I can help you.
My standard fee is £130 per session (50-60 minutes).
I am an approved Clinical Psychologist and Schema Therapist for AXA Healthcare, Aviva, Bupa, Cigna, Healix Vitality, and WPA.
