About me

Welcome to my profile. Whatever has brought you here, I hope I may be able to help you.

It may be that you are in pain, feeling stuck, or trying to make a change, break unhealthy patterns and let go of things that do not serve you. Or you may be searching for meaning, feeling that something is missing in your life, not being able to figure it out, or perhaps you want more fulfilment, happiness and a deeper connection with yourself and others.

As a highly trained psychotherapist, I can help you navigate and redefine the challenges you are facing and transform your mindset by discovering unconscious patterns and beliefs that may govern your behaviour and stand in the way of the life you truly want.

I will provide a safe space of unconditional acceptance and respect to support you in developing deeper insight, resilience, and self-compassion so you can access your inner resources and flourish in alignment with your authentic needs and values.

Working with me

Driven by a belief in our innate capacity to heal and grow, I work in a collaborative way, honouring your personal agency and expertise. My integrative and holistic approach allows me to draw from different modalities adapting to your specific context and goals.

For over two decades, I have worked as a holistic life coach and therapist with a diverse range of clients and issues. My background in cultural and social studies, as well as my experience of living in various countries across Europe and Asia, helped me develop multicultural awareness and sensitivity, expanding my ability to understand different perspectives.

Through my lifelong passion for meditation, I learned how to transform thoughts and emotions and balance the nervous system. It helped me sharpen my perception and intuition by training my mind to be present and still so I can better recognise and respond to my clients’ needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Master of Arts (Distinction) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of East London.
  • Master of Arts in Religions, SOAS, University of London.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of East London.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Psychology: Psychosocial Skills & Group Trainer, University of Warsaw.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Ethnology and Anthropology of Culture, University of Warsaw.

I have completed additional professional training in group therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, stress management, post-traumatic growth, intergenerational and complex trauma, polyvagal theory, and somatic therapy.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked with non-profit organisations such as the Refugee Council, Place2Be, Balham Community Counselling Centre, Art of Living and the International Association for Human Values.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 397467), I adhere to their professional code of practice and ethics.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Our first session is an opportunity to meet one another, talk about what has brought you to therapy and gain a sense of how we can work together to support you in reaching your therapeutic goals. We can discuss your hopes and expectations, and any questions or concerns you might have about the process.

If we both decide we are happy to embark on this work together, we can agree to continue in an open-ended way or within an agreed timeframe.
