About me

If you want to understand yourself better and heal from life's wounds, working together therapeutically can help.  You will be fully seen and heard in a space where you can tell your story how you need to.  Free from judgment, criticism or consequence.

Working in this way can help you gain insight into how you behave, feel, and think, offering answers to your question of 'why'.

You may wish to:

  • Heal from painful life events
  • Explore your feelings around bereavement & loss
  • Connect the many conflicting parts of you & discover your inner sense of Self
  • Boost your mood & energy, combatting depression
  • Reduce your anxiety & stress
  • Live a more fulfilling and joyful life

Counselling helps you unpick your tangled past life to gain clarity and calm in the now.  Coaching enables you to make informed changes to impact your future vision and goals.

Every journey of self-discovery begins with one simple step. However daunting that first step may seem, I will support and guide you from start to finish on your journey toward health, happiness and healing.

About Lucy:

Since 2010, I have worked with thousands of clients as a Yoga Therapist, Meditation Teacher, and Breath-work facilitator. Having added a postgraduate degree in Integrative Counselling and Coaching to my skill set, I am now uniquely qualified to work with all aspects of the human condition, offering a 360-degree approach to health and healing.

My approach respects and validates our bodies and their unique language as much as our hearts and minds. Calming techniques, such as breathing practices, meditation, or body scans, help you stay in the present moment and reduce anxiety or panic. Through talking therapy, somatic experience, internal system thinking, and tuning into the wisdom of the nervous system, I see you and your pathway to healing through a fully holistic lens.

Working within the IFS (Internal Family Systems) framework offers much insight and self-understanding. It invites you to build a precious and personal map of your inner world and how it relates to your external environment. You will be invited to understand the many parts of yourself that play out in your inner world and encouraged to become more self-led, validating and inviting balance and harmony into your system.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working privately with clients as a yoga, breath-work and meditation teacher since 2010, incorporating counselling and coaching work since 2022.

Working therapeutically with hundreds of clients has taught me one key thing:  “We are all ultimately searching for health, to feel truly whole.”

I have gained a level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Coaching from The University of East London. This unique, pioneering course takes a fully integrated 360-degree view of every person, seamlessly and progressively exploring their past, present and future dynamics within the therapy space.  We integrate counselling and coaching to support you in all aspects of your journey through life, past present and future.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
