About me
My name is Kim Edwards and I am an integrative psychotherapist working with individuals. I am currently available for face to face counselling in thetford norfolk and I also have availability for online counselling.
Are you feeling alone, stuck, overwhelmed or as though you cannot cope with your emotions & feelings? This can feel unbearable, If this is the case, you are not alone. Seeking support is often the hardest step of all.
I feel that we all have a right to be heard and to have our feelings acknowledged. My aim is to offer you a safe, confidential space to express your authentic self without judgement, where we can work together to explore what is going on for you and why. Looking at issues that may be causing you discomfort or overwhelm. We will work together to help you develop ways to fulfil your full potential or simply feel safer and more secure in your sense of self.
I am compassionate and have great empathy and value working honestly with my clients, this can allow them to see themselves from a different perspective. My experience lies heavily in working with infant and pregnancy loss including miscarriage, stillbirth and infertility, depression, grief and anxiety and panic attacks. However my own experience of childhood trauma and abuse, and my training allows me to cover a broad range of issues as I know that early adversity causes patterns of behaviour which can become an issue in adulthood. Some issues that may surface are grief, anxiety, depression, Domestic abuse, disordered eating and relationship issues and addiction.
If you would like to know more, have any questions about what I can offer or would like to book a free 20 minute consultation call, please call or email. Together we can book this at a time that works for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
