About me
Reaching out for a counsellor is a brave step. Finding the right counsellor for you can be a tricky task and it can be hard to know what to look for when searching. A positive therapeutic relationship should feel trusting, respectful and empathetic and these are all conditions I aim to provide in all sessions. Being in a non judgemental space is so important to make sure you feel at ease to work through trickier times.
Over the last 7 years I have worked with a lot of different difficulties such as stress, anxiety, confidence, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, self-esteem issues, trauma, bereavement, loss, bullying, anger, family issues and many other daily concerns.
I offer an open space for all individuals regardless of race, religion, sexuality or neurodiversity.
Counselling is not just for those going through tough times but for those who want to discuss their general mental wellbeing and wanting to make positive changes in their life.
Please enquire for a free chat to see if i may be the right fit for you
I look forward to getting to know you
Currently I am offering both weekly, fortnightly or one off sessions either online or over the phone.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified person centred counsellor under the BACP and have worked as a counsellor in a senior school with teens and young adults for the past 7 years.
I also volunteer supporting parents in the early stages of parenthood with emotional support and feeding support which I am very passionate about.
I have worked with both adults and teens in that time and have worked with a number of areas including anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, anger, stress, self-confidence, sexuality, family relationships, bereavement, relationship breakdown, self identity and more.
I am continuously engaging in professional development courses and keeping up with current training and ethical protocol.
My most recent courses included understanding autism and neurodiversity support with families and feeding.
