About me

We all dream of the way we want our life to be. Then life happens and sometimes it can feel like we are stuck in a pattern of living that we do not want to be in. Or we live through painful experiences that days, months, or years later continue to influence how we feel, think and act. Or maybe our family life and relationships feel out of balance, we may feel out of control, overwhelmed or disconnected from our loved ones. I am here to listen to your story, your difficulties and your dreams of how you wish your life, relationships, work, and family to be. Therapy can help you feel unstuck, so you can enjoy being who you are.

I typically support people using a blend of approaches that are listed below, on my profile. I support individuals (from children to adults), couples, parents and families. I also offer therapeutic groups which may suit you if you are not ready for/able to do individual therapy. I can work alongside other professionals who support you, including your GP.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
