About me

I am a person-centred counsellor based in Killingbeck, Leeds, and I’m deeply passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard, seen and supported. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, allowing you to explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster growth, healing, and self-discovery, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges and move towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Life brings its own set of challenges, whether it’s the daily ups and downs of anxiety and depression, or deeper struggles such as addiction and low-self esteem. Having faced my own personal journey with addiction, a diagnosis of ADHD and autism, I understand first hand the profound impact it can have on both our mental and physical health, often leading to a loss of confidence, low self-worth, and difficulty in making positive, lasting change.

carrying the weight of these challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling stuck, on edge and unable to find balance. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, chronic stress, or the emotional intensity of ADHD and autism, the effort it takes to simply get through the day can feel exhausting. For those moving through perimenopause or menopause, the emotional and physical shifts can add yet another layer of confusion, fatigue and inner turmoil. It may feel harder to mask your true feelings, to keep up appearances, or to explain what you're experiencing and deep down, you might be longing for something to shift, to make sense of it all, and finally feel like yourself again.

I work collaboratively with you to find and plan strategies that are tailored to your unique needs, experiences and goals. During times of difficulty, having personalised tools and approaches can make all the difference, whether it’s managing overwhelming emotions, navigating relationships, or coping with change. Together, we explore what works best for you, creating a supportive and empowering plan that helps you feel more grounded, understood, and equipped to move forward.

As a compassionate and intuitive counsellor, I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where individuals can explore and understand the challenges they face. I work holistically recognising the unique experiences and needs of each person, and support clients in building self-awareness, improving self-esteem and confidence, and developing practical tools for lasting change. With a deep commitment to empowering and self-discovery, I guide individuals on their journey to reconnect with themselves, uncover their inner strength, and create meaningful shifts that lead to a more fulfilling life.

Person-Centred Counselling : Support That Start With You

Taking the first step towards counselling can be one of the hardest and most courageous decisions you’ll ever make. It’s natural to feel uncertain, vulnerable, or even overwhelmed whilst looking for the right counsellor. Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the journey, someone you feel comfortable, supported and truly heard by can make all the difference to the process of your journey in therapy.

At the heart of person-centred counselling is you. This approach values your individuality, trusts your inner wisdom, and honours your pace, allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions at a pace that suits you.

There’s no pressure, no judgement, just a safe supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences of life freely with my support.

What You Can Expect From Our First Counselling Session:

- A Warm, welcoming Space: This is a calm and supportive environment where you are free to be yourself, without fear of judgement. We'll begin by gently building a connection at your own pace, giving you the chance to get a feel for how I work and whether this space feels right and comfortable for you.

- A short Assessment: In our first session, we'll gently talk through what's been challenging for you, whether that's recent struggles or things that have been building up over time. I'll ask a few questions about your background and experiences to get a fuller picture of what's going on for you. This helps me understand how best I can support you in a way that feels right for you, at your pace.

- A Safe Space to Talk: This is a safe and confidential space where you can talk freely, be heard without judgement, and begin to explore what matters to you most at a pace that suits you.

- Exploring Your Goals and Looking Ahead: During your counselling journey, we'll explore your goals and begin looking ahead, creating a path that feels meaningful and manageable for you.

- Growth at Your Pace: There's no pressure to be "fixed" or to meet anyone else's expectations. This is your space to move through challenges in your own time, to uncover your inner strengths, and to make meaningful changes that feel right and sustainable for you.

- Empowerment and Self-Discovery: Over time, ongoing counselling sessions can help you reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. With consistent support, you can begin to understand patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more grounded and empowered in your everyday life.

In addition to being a counsellor, I'm a crisis support worker for an organisation called Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service, I have worked at Oasis (crisis house) for 3 years. I work alongside people in their darkest moments, offering calm in the chaos, connection in isolation. Whether it’s self-harm, addiction, abuse, suicidal thoughts, or overwhelming psychological distress, I’m here to listen, not judge and to support people on their path to recovery.

When you’re ready, I’m here to listen.

To further support emotional, physical, and energetic well being, I also offer holistic treatments that complement the counselling process:

Tailored Reiki £25

Reiki can offer gentle yet powerful support during perimenopause and menopause, helping to ease the emotional and physical challenges that often arise during this time. By promoting deep relaxation, Reiki helps reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelm, while supporting the body’s natural energy flow and encouraging hormonal imbalance. It can sooth symptoms such as mood swings, fatigue, sleep disturbance, and tension, while also fostering a deeper connection to yourself. Reiki creates space for calm, clarity, and emotional healing, offering a nurturing pause in a period of significant change and transformation:

- Reiki is known for promoting deep relaxation.

- It can help calm the nervous system which can ease anxiety and stress.

- Some report reduced physical pain, including headaches, tension, or chronic pain.

- It may support the body’s natural healing process. Many experience better sleep quality due to the calming effects of reiki.

- Many describe feeling more connected, grounded and aligned after a session.

Reflexology Facial £35

A soothing, therapeutic treatment that combines face, neck, head and shoulder massage with pressure points to relieve a range of symptoms including migraines, sinus issues, jaw tension, period pain, back pain, and general discomfort. This gentle yet powerful approach encourages alignment and natural healing throughout the body.

- Gentle facial stimulation using pressure points on the face, calms the nervous system.

- It promotes a state of deep rest, reducing tension.

- Improves circulation & lymphatic drainage, encourages healthy blood flow and oxygen to the face and brain.

- Targets pressure points related to headaches, migraines, and sinus congestion.

- Helps to balance hormones using pressure points that may support hormonal balance and menstrual cycle regulation.

- Helps unlock energy pathways, leaves people feeling more energised, grounded and mentally clear.

- Emotional release, this can promote stored emotion in the face or body to be gently released through using pressure points along with massaging the neck and head.

Why Working With Both Mind and Body the mind ?

I am extremely passionate about true healing and growth that often comes when we treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. The connection between the mind and body is profound: emotional stress can manifest physically, and physical tension or imbalance can impact mental clarity and emotional well-being. By addressing both, we create deeper, long-lasting change. You may may find:

- Greater emotional resilience and calm.

- Improved sleep, energy, and mood.

- Reduced tension, pain, and overwhelm.

- Enhanced self-awareness and inner balance.

- Inner resilience and strength.
