About me
I am a person-centred counsellor based in Killingbeck, Leeds, and I’m deeply passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard, seen and supported. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, allowing you to explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster growth, healing, and self-discovery, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges and move towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Life brings its own set of challenges, whether it’s the daily ups and downs of anxiety and depression, or deeper struggles such as addiction and low-self esteem. Having faced my own personal journey with addiction, I understand first hand the profound impact it can have on both our mental and physical health, often leading to a loss of confidence, low self-worth, and difficulty in making positive, lasting change.
You could be at the starting point of realising that you potentially have ADHD or autism, which may be leaving you feeling confused, overwhelmed, and questioning your sense of identity. Perhaps you’re beginning to make sense of lifelong challenges, noticing patterns in your behaviour or emotional responses that now seem to fit into the bigger picture. This realisation can stir up a mix of emotions, relief, fear, uncertainty, leaving you unsure of who you are beneath the coping strategies you’ve developed over time.
Perhaps your at the starting point of perimenopause or menopause, a significant life transition where your body is beginning to go through changes driven by hormonal imbalances. These shifts can bring an influx of physical symptoms such as fatigue, mood swings, increased anxiety, disturbed sleep, and increasing feelings of worry and overwhelm. It can be a time where you no longer feel like yourself, and you’re left trying to navigate unfamiliar territory while managing the demands of daily life.
Carrying the weight of these challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck, on edge, and unable to find balance. It may feel harder to mask your true feelings, and deep down, you might be longing for something to shift and change.
I work collaboratively with you to find and plan strategies that are tailored to your unique needs, experiences and goals. During times of difficulty, having personalised tools and approaches can make all the difference, whether it’s managing overwhelming emotions, navigating relationships, or coping with change. - Time to share What’s Going on: You’ll have the chance to talk about what’s brought you to counselling, in your own words and at your own pace.
- Your Voice Matters: There’s no agenda, what we talk about is entirely led by you. I’m here to listen and support, not to tell you what to do.
- Looking Ahead: We’ll explore what you might want to gain from counselling and how we can work together to move towards those goals.
- Exploring Your Goals: We’ll start to look at what you might want to get out of counselling and how we can work together to support you.
In ongoing sessions, the person centred approach continues to place you at the heart of the process. Together, we’ll create a safe and consistent space where you can explore whatever feels important, whether it’s your thoughts, emotions, relationships, or past experiences.

In addition to being a counsellor, I'm a crisis support worker for an organisation called Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service, I have worked at Oasis (crisis house) for 3 years. I work alongside people in their darkest moments, offering calm in the chaos, connection in isolation and hope in pain. Whether it’s self-harm, addiction, abuse, suicidal thoughts, or overwhelming psychological distress, I’m here to listen, not judge and to support people on their path to recovery.

I consider myself knowledgeable in self-care strategies, energy healing, and somatic body movements that help relieve stress and anxiety. Theses techniques have been beneficial for many of my clients.
