About me
Welcome!
Welcome. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of emotional, psychological, developmental, and relational difficulties. I currently work in private practice and previously worked at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. I hold both a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, awarded by King’s College London.
I offer a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I work with people across the lifespan, including toddlers, children, young people, adults, older adults, parents, couples, and families. My aim is to provide a thoughtful and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and helped to make sense of what you are experiencing.
I support people with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar affective disorder, trauma, unusual or distressing experiences, and difficulties linked to pregnancy, birth, fertility, parenting, and the postnatal period. I also have experience working with neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism.
My practice draws on a range of psychological models, so that therapy can be tailored to each person’s needs, goals, and pace. I have particular interests in perinatal psychology, parent-infant relationships, fertility struggles, pregnancy and postnatal adjustment, and perinatal loss. I am a Member of the Perinatal Faculty of the British Psychological Society and have completed additional training in Perinatal Clinical Psychology.
I also have specialist experience working with complex psychological difficulties, including unusual or distressing experiences, psychosis, mania, and bipolar affective disorder. My PhD focused on psychosis, and my Clinical Doctorate research focused on mania. I am committed to offering careful, respectful, and evidence-based support for people facing complex difficulties.
Alongside my clinical work, I have contributed to research, teaching, and supervision. I am also an Accredited Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P) Provider and a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.

Therapy Offered
I offer compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to your needs, goals, and pace. My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of psychological models rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. Together, we will think about what has brought you to therapy, what you would like to change, and what kind of support is likely to be most helpful.
My work is informed by NICE guidelines and by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, psychodynamic thinking, and systemic approaches. I am also a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, which can be particularly helpful when working with trauma and distressing life experiences.
My Approach to Therapy
I aim to offer a warm, thoughtful, and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. Therapy can be a place to make sense of difficult feelings, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop new ways of coping, relating, and moving forward.
I work collaboratively and transparently. This means I will share my understanding of your difficulties with you, explain the therapeutic approach I think may be helpful, and invite your views throughout. I believe good therapy should feel safe, respectful, and purposeful.
What to Expect
The first stage is usually an assessment, which may take more than one appointment. During this time, I will ask about what has led you to seek therapy, your current difficulties, relevant background, and what you would like to gain from our work together.
Following assessment, we will agree together whether therapy with me feels appropriate and, if so, what the focus of the work will be. Sessions are usually weekly and last 50 minutes. The number of sessions can be agreed in advance or reviewed as we go, depending on your needs and circumstances.
I will aim to provide a clear therapeutic plan while keeping the work flexible and responsive to you.
Areas I Can Help With
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of emotional, psychological, developmental, and relational difficulties, including:
Anxiety, stress, panic, and OCD
Depression and low mood
Bipolar affective disorder, mania, and mood instability
Trauma, historical abuse, and distressing life experiences
Low self-esteem, shame, and low confidence
Bereavement, grief, and loss
Emotional dysregulation and personality-related difficulties
Antenatal and postnatal emotional difficulties
Fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, birth experiences, and adjustment to parenthood
Parent-infant relationships
Identity issues and life transitions
Relationship difficulties and couple conflict
Family difficulties and parenting challenges, including parenting teenagers
Chronic illness, health-related distress, and sleep problems such as insomnia
Neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism
Chronic anger
Unusual or distressing experiences
Some people come to therapy with a clear diagnosis or difficulty. Others come because they feel unhappy, stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what the problem is. If you are not sure where to begin, an extended assessment can help clarify what is going on and what kind of support may be most useful.
Why Work With Me?
I bring a careful, respectful, and evidence-based approach to therapy, alongside experience working with a broad range of difficulties across the lifespan. I work with children, young people, adults, older adults, parents, couples, and families.
My aim is to offer therapy that is both clinically grounded and deeply human: a space where your experiences are taken seriously, where we work at a pace that feels manageable, and where the therapy is adapted to you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.
Professional Registration and Memberships
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical Psychologist. I am also a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), hold the EuroPsy Certificate in Clinical and Health Psychology, and am a BPS RAPPS Registered Supervisor.
Next Steps
If you are considering therapy or would like to ask whether I may be the right person to help, you are welcome to get in touch. I would be happy to discuss what you are looking for and whether working together may be a good fit.
