About me
During our lives, there can be times when we find that life is harder to tolerate, and it can be at these times that it is difficult to share what is going on for us.
I offer individual therapy targeted at your personal needs in a confidential safe space. We will work together respectfully, exploring that which you require assistance with. Time in counselling can enable and facilitate the unraveling of thoughts. Assisting you to making sense of that which has been disrupting your peace of mind, and work toward positive outcomes.
I provide Counselling Supervision, for those who are working as, or training to qualify as, counsellors.
Supervision and mentoring provision is also provided to other identified individuals and groups within the medical professions and also in industry.
I work as an Integrative Supervisor and Counsellor at Brighten Well-Being Centre in Stoford near Yeovil. I also offer, if required,WhatsApp video, and Telephone opportunities.

I also work with relaxation and breathing techniques to assist with anxiety, stress and panic disorders.
Individual time for you to address low self esteem, anxiety, stress and any concerns around addictive behaviours and relationship difficulties that may have become problematic. Bereavement or loss and Trauma can become overwhelming and difficult to deal with. Meaning making, decisions and moving on.
Inskip & Proctors 'normative, formative, and restorative' main function for the supervisor is to assist the supervisee to learn to view issues from this lense. Doing so, helps to inform and educate the self management within their own pracitce. Thus ensuring the theraputic work is of the very best ethical and professional standard.
Person Centred Therapy works alongside the client providing them time to explore their personal thoughts and feelings.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy works collaboratively with the client whilst they consider and explore their own negative thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns working with Generalised anxiety disorder and Depression and work related stress.
During the free brief initial telephone consultation we will be able to discuss and safely explore concerns that you may have, this will give you time to ask any questions about supervision or counselling and what you hope to achieve.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I offer a free initial brief telephone Conversation which gives you the opportunity to talk about any queries you may have about counselling before you make a decision. It is important that you are comfortable with your counsellor.
Counselling:
Individual Counselling £50.00 per session
Investigation/Accused Offender Counselling £80.00 per session
EAP (Employee Support Services) are also available, please call to discuss contract and prices.
Those who seek counselling in regards to being under investigation or accused of Sexual Offending in what ever way, please call to discuss further. Rates start from £80 per session. I also provide court reports to assit your Solicitor in the defense of your case at Crown Court. The cost begins at £800.00, and is commensurate with the amount of session time required to complete .
I have consulting rooms in Stoford near Yeovil.
I also offer WhatsApp video sessions (end to end encrypted), for those who are unable to attend in person.
