Jane E. Dudley
Without exception, at some point in our lives, we experience suffering; in our world; in our everyday relationships and because of our losses; in our work, and even in our attempt to find who we truly are.
We can become overwhelmed by anxiety and depression and even paralysed by fear and self criticism. Adverse experiences of all kinds can freeze our hearts, and make it difficult for us to love freely and openly.
To experience this is part of the human condition. It is the call to transform.
'Midway upon the journey of our life I found myself within a forest dark,
For the straightforward pathway had been lost'. Dante Alighieri 'Inferno' Canto 1
We can choose to work this through alone, or ask for help, or both.
The task is to find someone who understands the struggle, who can help you manage the suffering, make necessary changes, and grow wise.
I work face to face again now, but also online. This means I can work with you wherever you are in the world, and at whatever place you are in your lives.
My style has been developed over many years. I do not ask my clients to go anywhere I have not been myself.
Take a chance.
The morning wind spreads its fresh smell.
We must get up to take that in,
that wind that lets us live.
Breathe, before it's gone

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
UK Council for Psychotherapy
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I specialise in all forms of personal and professional development for individuals, couples and groups, working with the body, feelings, mind, spirituality and sexuality and especially potential. I also have specialist training to work with trauma, of the kind related to isolated incidents, and also with the more chronic patterns that evolve during early developmental and in attachment styles.
We can heal and create personal change through a transformation in our BEING. The journey to find inner freedom and peace is not an easy one and requires courage in spite of our deepest fears.
