Hello my name is Zoe (she/her) I am a highly motivated Person Centred Counsellor who has a passion to help other's. I offer a warm, safe, confidential space for you to explore any worries or issues that's impacting your life. Its my belief that working together we can move you forward , building confidence and empowering you to deal with life's challenges. My approach holds that rather than the counsellor being the expert, it is the individual that has the ability to work towards resolving their own issues when given the support of an empathetic ear. I worked as a support worker for 2 and half years with adults with learning disabilities. I then went on to work at the Nottingham Women’s centre and have continued to work there since March 2019. I started working remotely since March 2020 and have found that working through Zoom and Telephone is equally beneficial as face to face. Here are some of the issues I have worked with

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
