About me

I am a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist working with children and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, deliberate self harm, relationship difficulties at home or school. I also work with families for couples work, family work or siblings.  I have 18 years of experience working with children and families and over 14 years NHS experience working with young people and their families with complex mental health problems. I am trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist which means I explore the possible deeper meanings and consequences of one's life to hopefully understand the inner world more fully. Certain behaviour, characteristics and issues that cause one pain and discomfort in the present may well be linked to unprocessed, unexplored, even unknown events of the past. By exploring these issues and gaining better understanding of them can alleviate difficulties and help the present problems.
