About me

Do you feel stuck in the same relationship patterns? Are you lacking motivation, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lonely or disconnected, experiencing low self-esteem, or simply sensing that something isn’t quite right?

These feelings are more common than you think, and you’re not alone in experiencing them. Deciding to seek help can seem daunting and scary, and it takes courage to take that first step. I'm here to support you on your journey to healing and self-empowerment.

As a qualified psychotherapist, I'm dedicated to helping you navigate these challenges.

I provide a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space where we will explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be holding you back. Together, we will recognise and break free from self-defeating patterns, and you will have the opportunity to reconnect with your innate worth, and develop effective coping strategies.

Through our therapeutic partnership, my aim is to empower you to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

I have specialised in understanding and addressing process addictions, i.e. love, sex, work, eating, exercise, etc. These are compulsive behaviours that can take over our lives, often stemming from underlying traumas and anxieties. Through compassionate exploration, we uncover the self-limiting beliefs and anxieties that fuel them, and look for effective ways to pave the way for healing and growth.

I use a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to meet your unique needs.

Additionally, I trained as a somatic therapist so I am in tune with how trauma manifests in the body, and familiar with healing modalities that can offer you additional tools and techniques to support your healing journey.

My services are open and inclusive to individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, age, sexual orientation or disability.

I’m bilingual and offer my services in both English and Italian.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
