About me

I am a fully-qualified, BACP-registered counsellor specialising in anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family issues and support for those with ADHD. I can also help you navigate relational challenges, whether with yourself or others. Through collaborative therapeutic work, I aim to empower you to explore and reframe your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a non-judgmental, understanding and restorative way.

Everyone has the capacity for self-awareness, growth and healing, and I strive to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, understood and valued. Explore your concerns, gain insight into your experiences and develop more fulfilling ways of living, whether you're looking for short or long-term therapy.

From relational challenges to navigating life's stressors, I provide compassionate guidance and encouragement every step of the way. Together, we can work towards creating a more peaceful and meaningful life. I am committed to providing a safe and caring environment where you can share your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your specific needs and goals.

If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing and personal growth, I invite you to take the first step towards positive change. You deserve to feel heard and empowered to explore your concerns, uncover your strengths and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself.

I offer face-to-face sessions as well as online counselling, with flexible, out of hours appointments available. Short and long-term therapeutic work undertaken, depending on your preferences.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
