About me

Welcome to my profile...it seems were living in a world where society can put an awful lot of pressure on us to be perfect... but these expectations can be unrealistic and can cause people to feel exhausted, overwhelmed, depressed and anxious. I have been working as a counsellor for 10 years and see this all too often. Many people experiencing extreme body reactions, of nervous tension and uneasiness. When we don't understand what's happening, this can cause a huge sense of fear and panic. I'm an integrated therapist working with many different approaches such as CBT, Humanistic, DBT and TA, this gives me the flexibility to work with each persons individual needs. I've worked with the Freedom Programme helping to understand and support domestic abuse survivors and their complex needs. I have also done work with abandonment, loss and grief, shame, trauma and PTSD.  I have Knowledge of ADHD and the difficulties this can sometimes bring.

I am a kind and compassionate lady, that can offer a warm and inviting space, to  anyone who feels they just need that one to one to help with feeling safe and accepted, so you can gradually move from this fearful place to a more calm and settled one. I can offer long or short term therapy, working together we can find the skills and solutions needed to help support you with any difficulties you may be experiencing, helping to unpick these confusing emotions, so you can better understand yourself.

I work from home where private parking is available, bus routs are a few minutes walk. If you think this might help you right now please get in touch for a free consultation.
