About me
About Me
Welcome to my profile. In today's world societal pressures often push us towards unattainable standards of perfection, leaving many feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or depressed. With over 13 years of experience as a counsellor, I've witnessed how these pressures manifests in ways that can feel deeply unsettling, often through physical symptoms like nervous tension and unease. When these feelings aren't understood, they can lead to a profound sense of fear and panic.
As an integrated therapist i draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT, Humanistic, DBT, Internal Family Systems and Transactional Analysis, tailoring my work to each individuals unique needs. My experience includes working with the Freedom Programme to support survivors of domestic abuse addressing complex challenges like trauma, shame, PTSD, abandonment, loss and grief. I also have a deep understanding of ADHD and the struggles it can bring. I have also worked with addiction and the devastation it can cause.
I aim to provide a kind and compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe and supported. Together, we can explore your emotions, helping you move from a place of fear and uncertainty to one of calm and self-awareness. Whether you're looking for short-term support or longer-term guidance, I'm here to help you develop the tools and strategies you need to navigate life's challenges and better understand yourself.
I work from home, which offers private parking and is just a short walk from nearby bus routes. If you feel this maybe the right time to reach out, I can offer a free consultation to discuss how I can support you.
Thank you for considering my profile, I look forward to hearing from you.
