About me
Are your thoughts, feelings or behaviour making you anxious or limiting what you can do?
I'm Rosy, a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor with several years experience of supporting adults and young people to make meaning of their experiences so that they can live their lives more fully.
I work in an integrative and non judgemental way. I draw from a range of methodologies depending on the need of the client, so the service you receive from me will be tailored to your personal situation.
Having the opportunity to 'tell your story' to an interested listener is therapeutic for all of us. Making the time and space for yourself to engage in therpay is an act of self kindness.
I work within the BACP ethical guidelines and together we can work through the issues you are facing.
With my psychotherapeutic training I may encourage clients to explore their unique childhood experiences as these often underly the way we relate to others in the present day.
I provide face to face sessions at two different locations. I also offer otudoor therapy (please contact me for locations). I offer online counselling for those who find this the best way to access support.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
