About me

Hello, I’m Rosella, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their Ethical Framework.

I provide individual counselling for adults and young people (13+), offering both short- and long-term support. My goal is to create a compassionate and confidential space free of judgment, where you can embark on your therapeutic journey. Together, we navigate and explore your experiences and emotions at your own pace, deepening your self-awareness and understanding of relationships for personal growth and empowerment. I recognise that you are the expert of your own being, and when offered the right conditions and environment, you can thrive and reach your full potential.

My theoretical approach, rooted in the Relational Integrative Model, blends various modalities tailored to your unique needs. Prioritising an authentic and trusting connection, I believe it's pivotal for effective therapy and healing. Within this approach, I may explore your childhood and past experiences, shedding light on unconscious influences on present behaviours, thoughts, and relations. My aim is to encourage your self-awareness and self-compassion, empowering you to break negative patterns and move forward in a renewed way.

With a background in the corporate travel industry, I bring heightened empathy for workplace mental health issues like work fatigue, stress, anxiety, and depression. Having lived and worked internationally, I've gained insights into diverse cultures, deepening my understanding of matters related to belonging and identity.

Together, let's navigate your unique journey towards well-being and fulfilment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and a BA (Hons) in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures.

My experience includes working with primary school children, adolescents and adults in various settings, with presenting issues that comprise domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger management, stress, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, self-harming, and more.

I actively pursue Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
