About me

Hi,

I'm Phil. An Integrative Counsellor working in private practice, face to face and online. I love to work with clients whose intention it is to break through the subconscious patterns that are holding them back and causing them distress.

My work is trauma informed, so that we can work through the deepest layers of what's coming up for you. I specialise in helping you with a practise to process  suppressed emotions, change limiting core-beliefs, change coping & defence behaviours and raise your self-esteem and confidence. Integrating your conscious and subconscious minds, also known as your 'adult' and 'inner child'..

My background is varied, ranging from the traditional aspects of Counselling and Hypnotherapy, into the more pioneering methods of NLP, Heart-Brain Coherence and Breath-Work. Because my approach utilises the most effective components of old and new, creating change on both the conscious and subconscious levels, the therapeutic process tends to be a little shorter and more dynamic than usual. It also goes much deeper than most short-term therapies such as CBT.  The combined theories and practises I use form the basis of a new modality I refer to as Self-Reintegration Therapy. This highly effective method is achieving fantastic therapeutic results with my clients.

Working intuitively and dynamically avoids any of that 'stuckness'  that we hear about, whereby people can be in therapy for years making only minor progress. This does not sit well with me ethically.

By the time your therapy is complete you will have the tools to process life's challenges and make personal breakthroughs. It's important to me for my clients to be making progress and my aim is to help you move through the therapeutic process, and create self sufficiency. Of course, you are always welcome back after your initial therapy has naturally ended. Many of my clients come back for the occasional check-in/top up, or period of time if needed.

I very much look forward to mutually exploring what's happening for you and helping you with the tools you need to create freedom in your life..
