About us
New Horizons Network is a team of counsellors, life coaches and psychotherapists.
Being able to explore areas of your life which you may wish to understand, improve on or make changes to can make life better, improve relationships and self esteem. We all deserve the best from life.
We believe that coaching, counselling and psychotherapy should be accessible to all. With that in mind we offer these services at varying costs according to the level of experience of our network of practitioners. Training, qualifications & experience
Our team consists of counsellors, coaches, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists who are either fully qualified having over 25 years of experience or who are in the final stages of qualifying for a diploma in counselling. They are also accredited or working towards this status. All have regular supervision and abide by the relevant Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
Member organisations *
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.
All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.
National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

If you are an established counsellor wishing to rent rooms in Highcliffe or at a stage where you would like to set up your own practice , we can support you. Please contact us to discuss terms and conditions. You must be fully qualified, insured and have like minded values to those of New Horizons Network. If you are a trainee looking for a placement you will need to be in your second year of training to qualify for a placement.
