About me
Do you feel stuck, lost, scared or anxious? Do you feel depressed or are you struggling in certain areas of life?
Life can be very difficult to navigate at times, especially in our current climate and we can feel alone and overwhelmed. My aim is to support you to explore whatever you feel may be concerning you. I will help you to identify, understand and address the thoughts, feelings or behaviours that are causing you difficulties. We can find ways to actively work together to ease your distress and heal the pain, at your own depth and pace. I will support you in whatever changes or decisions you feel may be necessary to make and will do my very best to be authentic, honest and empathise with you.
My Approach:
As a person centred counsellor, I believe and it has been my experience, that we all have the inner resources for self-understanding and healing. When we are offered empathy and feel accepted, when we are listened to without judgement, can we then start to access those inner resources, which can lead to positive change.
Working in a person centred way means that all session are uniquely tailored to you – whatever you feel needs the most attention, will be where the session is focused. You are not alone on this counselling journey, together we will explore the best ways forward for you!
I am committed to providing a safe, caring, ethical and professional relationship that keeps the needs of my clients central. I have experience of working with clients of all backgrounds, races, ages, genders, religions.
I offer Individual sessions to adults, on a short term (6-8 weeks) and long term (to explore difficulties at greater depth) basis – with a commitment to regular reviews.
I am based in Chiswick, West London and am currently seeing clients weekly for 50 minute sessions, either face to face or online via Zoom.
Next steps...
If you are interested in working together, get in touch, either by phone or email and I will arrange a short assessment phone call – this will give you a chance to tell me a little bit about yourself and what you’re looking to get out of counselling. We can then figure out what suits you best in terms of time and commitment.
"We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know" - Carl Rogers

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
