About me
Working with the right therapist when going through challenges in our lives can help us cope better and recover quickly. It can also bring some sense of clarity and right perspective. These can help us feel better and understand what we need to do or not do.
I am a therapist/ counselling psychologist with 10 years' experience of using evidence-based therapies to work with people who are experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, panic, relationship difficulties, stress, PTSD, trauma and many other mental health challenges.
I am trained to the highest standard to use:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Compassion-focus Therapy,
Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I often combine the above ways of working with some body-awareness interventions like Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family System (IFS) and Mindfulness. Body-awareness interventions can help deepen understanding of our unhelpful thinking, emotional, sensation and behaviour patterns.
I am a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC).
I offer therapy face to face as well as via Zoom video conferencing. Please give me a call for a free 10 - 15 minutes chat about how therapy may be helpful to you.
You can also text or email me for further information.
