About me

COVID-19 update: Sessions are currently available online via Skype and Zoom video conferencing and telephone. Please feel free to call or email me if you would like to discuss current challenges and how I may be able to help.

I am a counselling psychologist with several years’ experience of working in NHS mental health services with people with challenges like anxiety, depression, panic disorder, relationship difficulties, phobias, chronic pain, obsessive negative thoughts and so on.

The aim of my approach is to help you develop lasting and effective ways of coping with life challenges.

I work from three evidence based therapeutic approaches;

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT),

Action and commitment therapy (ACT) &,

Psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Scientific evidence supports the usefulness of these therapies and their effectiveness in helping to reduce anxieties, depression, stress and many other challenges. These approaches can also have a positive impact on our general outlook by helping us cope better with seemingly difficult challenges.

My way of working also highlight mindfulness-based bodywork which can be useful for  understanding/change at both body-mind level.

I am a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) which means that I am trained to the highest possible standard.

I offer therapy face to face as well as on Skype. Please give me a call for a free 10 - 15 minutes conversation about how therapy may be able to help you manage your difficulty in an effective way.

You can also text or email me for further information.
