Dr Michael Eko, offering effective psychological therapy for life challenges
I am a counselling psychologist with several years’ experience of working in NHS mental health services with people with difficulties like anxiety, depression, panic disorder, relationship difficulties, phobias, chronic pain, obsessive negative thoughts or emotions and so on.
The aim of my approach to therapy is to help you develop lasting and effective ways of coping with life challenges.
I am trained to work from three evidence based psychological approaches: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), action and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic therapy. If you would like to know more about these approaches please see my website or call me directly. My style of working also incorporates mindfulness-based bodywork which is important for effective change at both body and mind level.
I am a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) which means that I am trained to the highest possible standard.
I offer therapy face to face as well as on Skype. Please give me a call for a free 10 - 15 minutes conversation about how therapy may be able to help you manage your difficulties in an effective way.
You can also text or email me for further information.
