About me
In challenging times, working with the right therapist can help us cope and recover quickly. It can also bring some sense of clarity and resolution.
I am a therapist with 10 years' experience of using evidence-based therapies to work with anxiety, depression, panic attack, relationship difficulties, stress, PTSD, trauma and many other mental health challenges.
I am trained to the highest standard to use:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy,
Compassion-focus Therapy,
Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I often combine the above ways of working with body-focused interventions like Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family System and Mindfulness. Body-focused interventions can help deepen understanding of our unhelpful thinking, emotional and behaviour patterns.
I am a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) which means that I am trained to the highest possible standard.
I offer therapy face to face as well as via Skype and Zoom video conferencing. Please give me a call for a free 10 - 15 minutes chat about how therapy may be helpful to you.
You can also text or email me for further information.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
