About me
I provide EMDR therapy, counselling and art psychotherapy to help unlock feelings, aid communication, build understanding and promote healing from trauma. I am an accredited EMDR consultant with the EMDR Association UK and Europe. This includes the recent trauma protocol, groups, children and adolescents (accredited), the flash / blink technique, attachment informed and intergenerational work.
My background is in Art Psychotherapy (MA) and attachment based work, providing services for individuals, groups and organisations. I am experienced working with adults, children and adolescents at charities, NGO's, schools and privately, and in group supervision for clinicians both privately and in-house (Institute of Group Analysis qualified). I am also a rock climbing instructor (CWA, CWDI, RCI Mountain Training), which can be included in trauma recovery individually and in group work; with attention to the mind / body connection that trauma therapy centres around.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
