About me
Hi. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I hope I can be of help.
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and qualified in 2001. I have worked in both the NHS and private practice. I currently work 2 days in private practice either online, outside (walking, sitting on a bench..) or face-to-face from the summerhouse in my garden. I work across the lifespan (i.e. young people, adults to older adults along with their families/carers).
Over the years I have trained in various models of therapy and tailor these to suit the individual. For example, CBT, EMDR ACT, Systemic practice etc. However, the most important thing is the therapeutic relationship! I like to think that I have a very relaxed approach to help people feel at ease and make good use of humour (where appropriate!).
