About me

My ethos as a counsellor is to walk in your world with you, sharing your journey to discovering you.  We are constantly told how we should think and act, look or learn.  It is easy to lose sight of what you think and how you feel. Counselling gives you a time and space to discover what’s important to you.

Utilising my qualifications in Person Centred Therapy, CBT and Mindfulness we will unpick and explore where any issues stem from.  Supporting you to find the understanding and acceptance required to continue your journey to the person you want to be.

My passion is working with people over 16 presenting with anxiety and depression, relationship breakdown, and issues stemming from childhood. I also have significant experience in supporting people with  burnout and complex bereavement, including those who have lost loved ones unexpectedly and  suddenly.

My experience extends to working with Global Corporations, particularly supporting people in high pressure environments and the LGBTQIA+ community, around which I have undertaken additional training.

Private counselling sessions can be flexible to fit to your life, each session is 50 minutes and can be on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis depending on your needs.

What to expect after you contact me

After you have reached out to me I will contact you to arrange a free 30 minute consultation to make sure we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable talking to me.
Following this, I will send you my therapeutic contract for you to review and finalise arrangements for our first conversation.

Each session is led by you; it is your time and space to focus on what is important.  We will create together a warm and non judgemental environment, where you will feel safe exploring your thoughts and feelings, therefore enabling the steps towards positive change. This can be over telephone or Zoom.
