About me

Deciding to attend therapy is a difficult and brave decision.  It is important that you find a therapist with whom you can feel comfortable in being your authentic self, I aim to provide you with that experience.  I believe there is no position or age from which positive change cannot be made and will support you in the process.

Who am I and how do I work?

I am an Integrative Therapist and Coach with experience of each client's multi-faceted, complex and changing needs. I offer Therapy, Coaching or Personal Consultancy (a model which blends the therapeutic and coaching worlds to assist clients to resolve issues and achieve goals).

Counselling and therapy services:

As an integrated therapist, I can draw on a number of approaches to assist us in our work to ensure that you receive a bespoke service which can address your needs.  I offer help with any area that is problematic for you - from trauma, loss, family or work issues.

Walking therapy

As well as traditional therapy, I also offer walking therapy where, after an initial session, we undertake our sessions outside, walking in a traffic free area.  This can allow you to discuss your issues more freely and can help anxious clients who find the confines of a therapy room problematic, however I also have a relaxing therapy space in which we can work together.

Coaching services:

Alternatively, if you have a goal that you wish to achieve, either personally or professionally, it is vital you find someone who can bring energy, enthusiasm and pragmatism to your sessions.  I am an experienced coach with a high success rate working with some wonderful people who have achieved amazing things.

Personal consultancy services:

Personal consultancy is a new approach which seamlessly blends the therapy and coaching disciplines and allows the flexibility to work in the past, present and future.  It bridges the gaps in therapy and coaching which delineate their scope.  Personal consultancy sessions are a little longer than traditional therapy sessions, lasting from 60-75 minutes.

Corporate coaching, seminars and workshops

I also have experience in the corporate space and provide seminars and workshops on a number of issues including but not limited to anxiety management, managing overwhelm, overcoming negative self talk, managing change, as well as coaching for individuals and groups.

Seminars and workshops

I provide online seminars every 3-4 weeks on a number of mental health topics from anxiety management to overcoming negative self talk.  I also have a number of 3 hour workshops which go into greater detail and are more interactive.  Further details can be found on my website

Support for clients with auto immune issues

I also provide support to those who are diagnosed with auto immune conditions; often invisible but life altering and difficult to manage.  I have had MS for 11 years and have worked with a number of clients with issues related to auto immune conditions

Environment

I have a comfortable and light therapy space in which we can work together and I employ a creative as well as theoretical approach.  I offer an initial telephone consultation or a short initial session with no obligation to see how we fit.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
