About me

I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist with an authentic and caring attitude.

I have worked with a wide variety of people over the years and can assure you of a professional and non-judgemental approach, no matter what’s going on for you.

If we work together, you and I will meet weekly (in the room or online) for 50 minutes each session. We will tackle the emotional difficulties you are facing right now, with your past and upbringing always in mind.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a post graduate diploma in psychodynamic theory and practice from WPF Therapy in London.

In addition to my diploma, I am currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in psychodynamic psychotherapy, at Roehampton University, London.

My professional accreditation is with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), whose strict ethical standards I abide by. I’m also a member of the FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) and am involved in various other professional organisations.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

The way I work is always with the past in mind - together we will explore your emotional habits, responses and patterns that are no longer serving you. Together we will work towards understanding and changing these so that you feel more emotionally in control and stable.

Whether we meet in person or online, I know that therapy is a big commitment and can feel like a lot. Your feelings about therapy are one of the things we could think about in the work we do together.
