About me

May 2020.

During this difficult moment for the whole country and the wider world, I wish you all the very best in the weeks and months ahead.

I am here to offer support and to help you address issues you may be facing, enabling you to explore your feelings and help you to come to terms with what is most difficult in your life.

Do not fear seeking help.

I can offer you the time and space to share, and to begin an on-going improvement to your way of life. I can help you to move forward and to help you become more aware of your behaviour, thoughts and feelings.

To be a healthy, functioning human being there is a need for a process of change. I can help you in that process. I work with adults and children of all ages within a Humanistic, Person-Centered approach.

I believe in personal empowerment and positive change, which can assist you in coming to terms with what is most concerning. Helping you to become more aware, more open, and  enjoying a more enriched lif

I will provide a safe and secure environment within my private practice.  I am a member of the BACP and practice within their set guidelines.  Please feel free to get in touch.

Change is possible. I hope to be able to help you on that journey.

March 2020. During this difficult time for the whole country and the wider world, I wish you all a safe time in the weeks and months ahead. I am not at this time taking new client's due to the outbreak measured against safety and risk. I am continuing to offer, Skype, Whatsapp, Signal and other media platforms for counselling so please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss this. Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
