About me
Welcome - I'm a counsellor who specialises in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as couples looking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their connection. Therapy is about change, but we don't always know how to make that change, and the process can often feel uncomfortable and even scary. You may need to explore painful experiences from your past that you have tucked away in "boxes" or your beliefs that influence your behaviour. Together, at your pace, we will gently unpack those boxes so you can make sense of your experiences and move forward in a meaningful way.
In our sessions, I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard, supported and empowered to make positive changes. My holistic approach integrates techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices to enhance focus and yoga breathwork to support emotional and physical well-being.
I'm a warm, caring and approachable person who is genuinely committed to supporting you as you move forward. I know just reaching this point has taken courage. From here, it’s simply about taking a few more steps to see if we feel comfortable working together. At the heart of any lasting therapeutic change is a strong, trusting relationship.Welcome - I'm a counsellor who specialises in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as couples looking to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their connection. Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
Clients often arrive and say "I feel silly really, I don't know why I am here". Because they feel that their problem is not BIG enough to bring it to counselling. To which I reply, "if it's bothering you it's big enough.
We are all unique individuals and no two problems are ever the same. There are times when we need to talk through our concerns, with someone that has no connection or any invested interested. Those problems vary from relationships, loss (of anything) and bullying. Counselling gives you the opportunity to explore your own issue and concern in a non-judgmental environment. It is my job to help you work out what's right for you.
Anxiety and depression is the main mental health issue that is talked about in my counselling setting. These problems can be crippling to someone and seeking help in the form of talking therapy. Is proven to help manage the condition.
