About me

I work with people who have what I call life-induced or life-inflicted burnout. I help them to join the dots of all their life experiences in order to develop insight into their unique struggles and behaviours. I work with people to find peace within themselves and to appreciate the small joys in life. We live in an imperfect world and it can be difficult to find our own authentic self in it. As our self-knowledge increases our path becomes clearer. My intention is to guide people on their path to self-discovery in a way that increases general well being of the whole self.

Training, qualifications & experience

Having worked extensively in South Africa, I have experience in dealing with a wide ranging population and their own unique struggles in life. I completed my training in South Africa where the population is generally traumatised to varying degrees. I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist in the UK and have 5 years NHS experience, particularly in neurodiverse conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

Those of us that are neurodiverse have an extra layer of complexity that can lead to life induced burnout. I have experience in helping people figure out what they can change, what they can't change and what they won't change and how to bring this knowledge into relationships and the world.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
